Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Darcy asked: "My Cuttlebug cuts out Nestabilities die shapes perfectly, but when I try to get the embossing to show up I can just barely see it along the edges. What am I doing wrong?"
A: Here's the sandwich that Spellbinders recommends. You'll want to stack from the bottom up (without your C plate):
    - Place A plate on bottom, then die face up on A plate with die cut still in the die.
    - Add a tan embossing mat (from Spellbinders) on top of the die, then use two or three pieces of cardstock to shim.
When using Spellbinders Edgeabilities card making dies, shim with only two pieces of card stock. Be careful, though. Using more than three pieces of cardstock to shim the Cuttlebug Embossing sandwich may cause your B plate to break.
    - Place two acrylic B plates on top of the sandwich and run it through the Cuttlebug machine to emboss your die cuts.

For added detail, turn die over and use like a stencil with inks or chalks.

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Maus has a suggestion for the woven basket tutorial: "An easy template for those without the die or Big Shot is a paper cup! Just take it apart and trace the cup and bottom on your patterned paper then do the rest. Voila!"
