Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Angie asked: "How do you create the Tri-Shutter Card out of 8 1/2″ × 11″ piece of cardstock?"
A: Try starting out with a 5″ × 10 1/2" piece of cardstock. Score at 1 3/4", 3 1/2", 7" and 8 3/4". Cut your lines horizontally at 1 1/2" and 3 1/2" from the first to the last score line.You will end up with a card that measures 3 1/2″ × 5″.

Feedback From Past Tutorials
Cindy has a tip for altered notebooks: "I like even using spiral bound notebooks, following the same steps. Additional idea, make pocket dividers out of cardstock to insert into the book between the pages before putting back together. Makes a great planner for new babies, weddings, shopping, project journal, travel journal, gardening journal etc. Tie variety of ribbons on the wire spiral."
