Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Paula asked:"I am having trouble with my cardstock bending and warping every time I heat emboss. I always use good quality Stampin' Up!® cardstock, but always end up with warped cards. Can you suggest any tips or ways other than heating the back of the card stock and laying it flat or placing a heavy book on top?"
A: Cardstock will warp with the application of heat because there is always a bit of moisture in the cardstock and this is removed with the heat gun. Moving your heat gun evenly around the cardstock, not overheating and heating both the front and the back of the cardstock will help, and there are some great tips in this thread in our forum as well.

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Gin has a suggestion for the Tent Card Tutorial: "I would leave one edge of the center accordion fold piece untaped, so that you can open it, sign it inside and maybe even put a cute something into the accordion piece as an extra surprise! Velcro™ would also work."
