Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Suz asked: "My cling stamps are not sticking to the blocks anymore. How do I refresh them?"
A: Did you try washing them and cleaning your acrylic block? That should help. Check this thread. Our members talk about solutions to that problem there.
    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Rebecca has a suggestion for the slider box tutorial: "Couple of tips: use two layers of cardstock for the slider frame. Mine started to warp from use, meaning the drawer would slide but the tag didn't. The inside piece just bent instead of staying put and allowing the bag to slide. Once I reinforced it, it worked fine. I was using heavy cardstock too.

I also recommend using a quiet, smooth bag and avoiding any seams. This makes for smoother functioning mechanism. Shake the bag you want to use and if it makes a sharp snapping sound, try another.

Lastly, when decorating the top, in Beate's example, the labels 17 die cut, be sure if you wrap ribbon or similar to the back and secure it with adhesive that you consider the overhang. The die cut is larger than the box and some of my adhesive I used to secure some ribbon still showed and my ribbon ends were just barely long enough so the raw edge didn't show. Just be careful where you place it and you will be fine."
