Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Joanne asked: "I am seeing a lot of cards in magazines and on blogs made with the new, larger Spellbinders dies, however, I haven't figured out a good way to attach two of them together at the top of the card when the top of each piece has curves, points, etc. I guess you could use a brad so it could swing, but I don't really want that look."
A: When you create card bases with a decorative die, you fold your cardstock in half and cut the card base with the die, making sure the scored side of your cardstock is not cut. Then you cut another piece of cardstock with the same die, this time a single layer and the entire shape. You adhere that on top of your card base.

It's like the Variation pictures in the Easel Card Tutorial, except for you don't score the card base front in half, you leave it whole.

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Sabrina has a suggestion for using EZMount: "For those who like to trim their stamps before putting them on the EZ Mount to maximise the use, (me :D) I find that sprinkling cornstarch or talcum powder on any remaining exposed sticky areas after you've positioned your stamps makes trimming them an easier job, as it stops the exposed areas sticking to your fingers so much. And any powder is easily brushed off the stamps with a soft brush."
