Our Creative Director answers your technique questions
Q: Joan asked: "What is your recommendation for gluing letters that have been cut by Cuttlebug™?
What type of glue should I use? The letters are sometimes very thin or fine and are hard to position and to place glue on. I used a clear glue but in repositioning the letters, some of the glue smeared on my card and when it dried, it appeared shiny. It was not a neat appearance for the card. It almost looked like I was painting with the glue."
A: Do you have any Xyron™ machines? You could run your letters through and it will add an adhesive backing to them. Burnish around the letters before cutting around them and peeling the protective plastic off. That should make sure you only get adhesive on the back of the letter.

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Mary Ellen has a suggestion for the file folder notebook: "I don't have access to pretty file folders, but I have lots of cardstock. I was gifted with a kit of nearly 400 sheets. I followed your easy-to-follow tutorial and figured out a quick and easy tweak:

Take an 12" and an 8.5" square of card stock. Score both at 5.75" and 6.25". Overlap to the folds (so the center back is a double thickness) Turn the 12" card 90° and score at 8.5" - even with the smaller square." Continue with the instructions from the tutorial.
