Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Barbara asked :" I am having trouble using my Spellbinders Impressabilities. The folder doesn't give very detailed directions. I have tried embossing with lighter weight CS and even vellum using my Cuttlebug. I also tried using cardstock dampened a bit with a water spritz. I never get really good results. Do you have any tips for me? "
A: When you are working with a mix of manufacturers' embossing folders and machines, I would suggest the new No More Shims embossing mat from Scor-Pal. The mat should help get you a more detailed impression. It was designed for use with the Cuttlebug and/or Big Shot to get a crisper impression.

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Glenda has a suggestion for the Delft Tile technique: "One hint I discovered trying this - before scoring, run a white crayon down the score line. This will act as a resist and help keep the 'grout' line cleaner."
