Our Artist in Residence answers your questions
Q: Lisa asked:" I just LOVE all the Spellbinders out there. Can I use their cutting and embossing dies in my Cuttlebug and if so, how? Do I need something special than just the three pieces of plastic that came with the Cuttlebug?"
A: You can use Nestabilities dies in your Cuttlebug. To cut paper you won't need any special plates, but to emboss, you will need to purchase an embossing mat. You can find instructions for the Cuttlebug on the Spellbinders die compatibility chart here. You can also find it inside each Nestabilities die package.

To get a deep impression when you emboss, just like you would when using the wizard or the Grand Calibur, I suggest you try using Scor-Pal's new "No More Shims Embossing Mat".

    Feedback From Past Tutorials
Connie has a suggestion for the Bargello technique: " I can just see making Easter eggs with this pattern and oval dies for cards, place cards and all kinds of things."
