Our Creative Director answers your technique questions
Q:Maria asked: "When I buy a digital stamp and I print it, the ink from my printer bleeds. What am I doing wrong?"
A: It sounds like you are using an inkjet printer. Those are a bit tricky. There are several things you can try.
You can try letting the image sit overnight. Emboss the image with clear embossing powder to make sure it won't bleed.
I had the same problem. Some inkjets work better then others with digital images. Mine didn't do well either. It was frustrating and I finally switched to a black and white laser printer. I got it on sale for under $100 at Best Buy.
Shala has a suggestion for the Herringbone technique: "I'm going to make this and then run it through the Cuttlebug with a folder that will make this look more like a quilt. "
