Kissing Technique

This basic technique adds texture to solid stamps.
Supplies
Solid image stamp
Two coordinating colors of dye ink
Cardstock
Small stamps or background stamp
Darker color ink marker (optional)
Kissing with Background Stamp - Step By Step
Step 1.
Ink a solid image stamp with the lightest color ink.
Step 2.
Ink a background stamp with the darkest color ink.
Step 3.
Press the solid stamp onto the background stamp.
Note:The alphabet used in this tutorial has letters mounted on both sides of the wooden block. In this step, the "J" is pressed onto the background stamp.
Step 4. (optional)
To add a darker border around the image, run your marker around the edge of the image.
Step 5.
Stamp image on cardstock.
Kissing with Small Stamps - Step By Step
Step 1.
Ink a solid image stamp with the lightest color ink.
Step 2.
Ink a small stamp with the darkest color ink.
Step 3.
Stamp small stamp onto the solid image.
Step 4.
Repeat step three if necessary. When the solid image is covered to your liking, stamp on cardstock.
Twisted Kiss - Step By Step
Step 1.
Ink a solid stamp with the lightest color ink.
Step 2.
Ink a small stamp with the darkest color ink.
Step 3.
Stamp the small stamp on the solid image. Before lifting, twist the image on the solid stamp.
Step 4.
Stamp solid image on cardstock.
