Chipboard

Craft ink

Piercing tool

White gel pen

Step By Step

Step 1

Step 1.
Apply craft ink to chipboard by swiping pad. Be sure to cover the edges, too. If you can't get into the corners, try an eyeshadow applicator!

Step 2

Step 2.
Apply more layers of ink to achieve good coverage.

Step 3

Step 3.
Use a piercing tool to poke holes around edges of chipboard. You can use a tempate for even spacing.

Step 4

Step 4.
Connect the holes with the white gel pen to create a faux stitched look.

Step 5

Step 5.
Embellish as desired.

Embossing heat tool

Tweezers

Step by Step

Step 1

Step 1.
Cover chipbard with craft ink as above, and while still wet, coat in embossing powder.

I used a mixture of Ultra-thick Embossing Enamel and Holographic Highlights powders. Tweezers are helpful to prevent burns.

Step 2

Step 2.
Use an embossing heat tool to melt the powder. Add additional layers if desired.

Step 3

Step 3.
Finished chipboard letter.
