Create an exotic looking background with your spectrum pads, a brayer and a water mist bottle.
Spectrum® Pad
Rubber Brayer
Watercolor paper
Water mist bottle
Black Craft Ink® or Versamark®
Black Embossing Powder
Embossing Buddy®

Step 1.
Ink your brayer with a Spectrum pad of your choice and wheel over the watercolor paper. Make sure that you leave the ink pads separated while inking your brayer.
Step 2.
Re-ink your brayer and go over the watercolor paper again. Be careful to go over the same colors again so that your colors don't mix and get "muddy". Repeat until you have the color coverage you were looking for.
Step 3.
Spray your brayered paper with water until the colors run together.
Step 4.
After your paper is dry, rub your embossing buddy over the paper where you want to stamp your image.
Step 5.
Stamp your image in Black Craft Ink© or Versamark©.
Step 6.
Sprinkle black embossing powder over the image and tap off excess.
Step 7.
Emboss your image using your Heat Tool.
Step 8.
Highlight some of your image with a white watercolor pencil. I wet the tip of mine for easier coloring.
Step 9.
Finish your card!
