Beate Johns answers your technique questions
Q: Twyla asked: "What type of sewing machine needle should I use to sew on cardstock?"
A: I always use a medium size (80/12) sewing needle. They are strong enough to punch through the paper, but don't make holes that are too big. The thicker the needle, the bigger the holes.

Feedback From Past Tutorials
Shirley has a suggestion regarding the string stretching on the suspension cards: "As a beader, I learned to stretch my strings before putting beads on them. I've used this technique when adding string embellishments to slot punched corners and it works very well. Take a length and wrap the ends around the index fingers on both hands. Give a couple of good tugs and use as desired."
