Beate Johns answers your technique questions
Q: Janie asked: "I am a total newbie. How do I stamp with VersaMark® and waterbased ink? Do I use a marker to colour the stamp and then dip in Versamark? I'm a little lost. Thanks for the help."
A: Ink your image first with your VersaMark. Don't stamp it yet, but ink with the waterbased ink color you want to use. Now stamp the image. The VersaMark will keep the waterbased ink wet long enough for you to emboss the image with embossing powder.

Kelli has a suggestion for stamping on candles: "If you burn it down just a little bit you can insert a tea light candle in and it can be switched out. You can also carve a little hole out for the tea light, but burning is easier to me. This solves the tissue paper issue and saves the candle. If you still don't want to burn with a tea light, they sell battery operated tea lights in the craft section. Ours are located near the wedding supplies in the craft dept. They flicker just like real candlelight. I use these for my paper bag luminaries at Halloween and in our pumpkins."
