Ask Beate
Beate Johns answers your technique questions
Q: Kathy asked: "I love all the layers and extra things you use on your cards. How do you mail them? My post office is very picky about anything dimensional."
A: When I mail bulky cards (and you are right...most of my cards are bulky), I add a 1/4 sheet of cardstock over the cardfront and put both in a regular size envelope. If they are too bulky, use an envelope one size up or even a bubble wrap envelope. Because of the bulk, the card will mail for at least 62 cents. If the envelope is over 1 ounce, you will have to add another 20 cents to the postage. Check this thread for lots of great info about mailing embellished cards.

Feedback From Past Tutorials
Donna has a suggestion for the Shaker Card tutorial: "To prevent the filler in your shaker cards from sticking to the sides of the mounting tape, just run an Embossing Buddy along the sides of the tape. The powder makes the sides of the tape "unsticky"."
