Ask Beate
Beate Johns answers your technique questions
Q: Manon asked: "There is a technique in the SCS gallery I can't seem to find a tutorial on. Would you share the Reinker Splash technique?"
A: "Our member Markie's Mom made this technique popular. All you do is spray a piece of glossy card stock with water and drizzle different colors of reinker (at least two) over the card stock. Next, spray another piece of glossy card stock with water and press it glossy side down on the first glossy card stock piece. Peel glossy card stock apart and dry. This technique was a technique challenge a while ago, and you'll find many samples in the gallery."

Feedback From Past Tutorials
Debi has a suggestion for the Chalkboard tutorial: "I am soooo cheap, and wash my daubers. I just use dish or liquid hand soap and squish them up and down a few times, rinse and dry on a towel. They do wear out after a while. I like the idea of buying lots and labeling them for each color (or family of reds, blues, etc) but be careful as you can get muddy colors if you combine too many different hues on one dauber."
