Q: Robin asked: "My daughter has gifted me with Halloween clear stamps. I feel embarrassed, but I do not know how to use them yet. I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to tackling this family of clear stamps. I would appreciate any help available."

A: Did your daughter give you an acrylic block as well? You stick your clear stamp on there. Then you can use them just like wood mounted stamps. Once you are done stamping, clean the stamps just likeall your others, then peel the stamp off the acrylic block and store. They are easy and fun.

Mindy posted a variation to the dryer sheet technique: "I saw a similar technique at a card show they used the large shipping labels purchased from any office product store. They did their technique over lace then pulled up the lace and put a contrasting glitter over the entire label. The glitter sticks to whatever wasn’t covered from the lace overlay the first time. Then they stuck the label (non-sticky side) to the card with adhesive. Very pretty!"
