Q: Karen asked: "How do you get a clean image with embossing powder? It seems like little pieces remain where I haven't stamped and if I tap it too hard too much powder comes off my image."
A: First rub an Embossing Buddy over your cardstock to get rid of the static and ensure you don't get those unwanted speckles. The Embossing Buddy is a small bag filled with corn starch that's available in stores and through many home party demonstrators. Another thing is that you'll want to make sure the embossing ink pad is juicy. If you're seeing embossing powder coming off the stamped image while you tap off the excess, it's time to re-ink the pad. Use a brush to remove any stray embossing powder before heating.
