Ask Beate
Beate Johns answers your technique questions
Q: Kat asked: "Is it absolutely necessary to use an embossing buddy before doing the emboss resist technique?"
A: "The embossing buddy removes static from your cardstock and ensures that the embossing powder will only stick to the stamped image. If you don’t mind a few speckles of embossing powder all over your cardstock, then you don’t need the embossing buddy."

Feedback From Past Tutorials
Chantal has a hint for the Bleached out Images technique: "I've learned (the hard way) that it doesn't work with shimmer card stock. Well, at least I couldn't get it to work after nearly drowning the card in bleach. Normal cardstock works a treat."
