October Fan Club Gallery Now Open
You can be anywhere, hear a familiar tune and instantly you're flooded with memories: where you were, who you were with, what was going on around you. It's amazing how much music inspires our creativity and we think you'll find the Dirty Dozen Gallery a fun walk (or waltz!) down memory lane.
This month, the Dirty Dozen went through their playlists and stacks of stamps and created For a Song, a gallery full of cards and projects inspired by music from rockin' AC/DC to gentle Brahms lullabies. No matter your taste in tunes, you're sure to find something you like.
Before you view the gallery, though, make sure to join us in welcoming two new designers to the Dirty Dozen: Jessie Rone (knightrone) and Lisa Zappa (lzappa).
You'll also want to thank two very talented paper artists who are leaving the team this month. Joan Ervin (joan ervin) and Michelle Woerner (sf9erfan) filled the last six Fan Club Galleries with their own special touches. We'll miss the pretty ribbons and extravagant details Joan added to her creations as well as the deceptively simple elegance and well-placed accessories that Michelle's projects always included. We appreciate your contributions, ladies!
Get more challenge details in the Fan Club Forum, then try your hand at the sketch and inspiration piece. We'd love to see what you can do with this month's theme, and if you play along, you'll have a chance to win a generous music-inspired prize package donated by the lovely ladies of Flourishes.
The Splitcoast Fan Club is our way of saying "thank you" to members of the community who support Splitcoaststampers. Each month, design team members are given a design theme/challenge. The best of their creations are added to a special gallery that Fan Club members can visit for inspiration and play along! We announce and open the new gallery on the 15th of each month. Find out more on the Fan Club page, and join today!
