No stranger to the paper crafting world, owner Angela Magnuson and her husband Chris have been in the stamping business for several years and in the paper crafting business for over ten. In fact, they own a business that supplies top-quality maple wood blocks to some of your favorite stamp companies. "I know that many, many stampers prefer the feel of a side-groove wood block when they stamp," said Angela. "Over and over I would hear people on both sides of the mounted vs. unmounted stamp issue say that the missing feel of wooden handles would be the only downside to using unmounted red rubber images on an acrylic block. I began to think about how to combine the two things: ease of unmounted rubber and the feel of wood side-grooved mounting blocks."

Almost a year ago, the pieces of the dream began to fall into place, and this husband and wife team worked non-stop to take that dream to CHA in February 2008. May 1st, 2008, the doors to Unity Stamp Company were thrown open.
