Hello.....I especially like the colors on this card.
My question is.....Why is the clear embossing powder used if in the end it is not shown and on the reverse of the image? What is the point of embossing if it's not going to show?

Hi, Patti
I imagine the clear embossing is so that you can see the image to cut out on the black cardstock

Thanks Wanita for your response. I realized I posted my quesiton in the wrong place. I have since asked in the tutorial as many others had the same quesiton. Seems the method is unique to the particular creator of the process.
Again, I guess what appealed to me was the colors you chose for your card.

WOW!!!!!!! This is so cute! I totally see why you would emboss the image on the back of the card stock...makes a great basis for a super cute silhouette!!!!! Love this and I will definitely have to try this one on for size! What a creative tutorial and uber cute card!

What a cute idea, I used to do sherenschnitte a long time ago and made many nice things. Now another neat way to use my stamps. Thank you!

Love the card. Why not use white craft ink? Would cut down on time.
