ETA I will be making a proper TPT card to celebrate 100 tea-parties, but this is the card I posted to Elaine this morning. I've held on to it too long, it's time to let it go .
This is a re-make of a card I made a couple of years ago. I always liked it, although I've made several changes this time round, and used a different technique on the tag.
The sand paper is DCWV photo paper, and the wavy paper is ProvoCraft Illuminations.
I stamped the Hero Arts Image onto white card, coloured it with watercolour pencils and cut into a tag shape, which I then layered onto some of the sand paper. I used wavy scissors to cut the sand strip down the side.
The letters are die-cut letters, which I coated with Glossy Accents and sprinkled with clear micro-beads for some interesting texture. I also used Woodware Fluffy Stuff to add texture to the clouds. I used the sand from Shore Thing and a bit of chalk to add interest to the sand. The fibres are all Basic Grey, and I added a starfish charm.

How pretty. Love the use of the "sandpaper". The colors are so soothing in the scene on the tag. Those fibers add such a nice balance. This is very lovely.

Perfect card for Elaine! You're quite the visionary... ;-)
Love the image on a tag, and those fibres look just like waves washing up on the shore! Did you that a photo of the sand, or is it sandpaper? Either way, it's an awesome card!
