For the inspiration challenge, to make a card inspired by a dress in a movie. I have always LOVED the Wizard of Oz, and being a baby boomer it was always a treat to watch the movie which showed ONCE a year! No vcrs, no dvd's, it was a real treat indeed. We would be allowed to eat in the den and it was a very special event in our house. We would just quake at those flying monkeys, and those sleep inducing poppies always seemed magical to me. And of course I adored Dorothy's blue and white checked dress and ruby slippers! The sentiemnt is mounbted on a nestied panel colored silver with my paint pen for in honor of the Tin Man!!
So thanks for looking at my card and thanks Stef for the awesome inspiration.

oh what happy memories you have inspired in me today, my friend!!! I remember exactly what you wrote about...and the movie was in Black/White too. I love your take with those wonderful poppies, the checks and the lace. And the silver of the tin man...perfect touch!!! That witch is gonna melt...
As a hijack of your card, we have all the reissued Frank L Baum books in hardback with the original illustrations...such a depth of humor and word play that we have so enjoyed beyond just the Wizard of OZ!
