I visited the Hayden Planetarium and was inspired to do a comet card.
Last night at BarbÂ’s card class I mentioned some tapestry fabric I had seen that I thought would make a fun background for a stamped card. She gathered up a few supplies and before I knew it she had produced this beautiful background paper; itÂ’s even better than what I had in mind. She stamped Print Pattern in Versamark onto Basic Black CS. She then tapped rose red and purple chalks onto it. After removing excess chalk with a Swiffer sheet she rolled the ItÂ’s Beautiful jumbo wheel in Encore silver ink and over the print pattern. SheÂ’s a genius! I love the background paper.
I am photographically challenged on this one and am forced to add the IRL disclaimer; the comet and tail are done in lavender glitter embossing powder and are quite sparkly in real life.
