For the color challenge, Ruby Red, Pumpkin Pie and Soft Sky.
When One of A Kind came out in the catalogue I thought I HAD to have it...and yet I haven't used it much, so today I did some paper piecing with it and some DP. The DP from Ginger Blossom has vanilla colored dots, but because I used white as the base I colored in all of the dots with the White Gel pen.
Slit punch is used in a *reverse fashion* along the side to mimic the shape of the flower petals.
This will be for my wonderful friend who made us supper and took our son for the day. My husband blew out his knee and had surgery and it's been crazy around here...she is such a great friend.
Thanks for looking!

how blessed you were and your friend will be touched by the beauty of your card. I love how you arranged the colors and the open scalloped edge is so cool!
