Hi! Well....These JARS were made for today's Ways To Use It Challenge: All Ruffled Up!
So...Since my husband will NOT spring for a new photo editing program, I'm stuck MAKING 2 of every 3-D item....
So...since I can't REACH my sewing machine, I had to FOLD the ruffled paper, then pierce it, THEN HAND SEW it!!! HAND SEW!!! My hands are KILLING me! (It's the center band around the jar!)
SEW... LOL! I decided to use my little birdie from Flourishes' Love Nest along with the Cake Stand from Cake Decorating 101 (Bird bath!) to decorate these jars.
The images were stamped in Basic Black and colored with SU! markers. The right facing birdies are actually REVERSE Stamped...(I stamped them on acetate and then rubbed Whisper White paper on the stamped acetate images. Then, I outlined them, colored them in, and cut them out!)
The paper around the jars is stamped with a small flourish in the Siberian Iris Set from Flourishes in Chocolate Chip.
Circles were cut with the Coluzzle. Dots were added with a Marker and Signo Pen.

These jars that you so painstakingly made are gorgeous. You go girl... We should all tell DH that you REALLY need a new photo editing progam, do you think that would help?

Those colors are YUMMY! I can not believe that you HAND sewed that strip around the jar! And tell hubby he just has to help a girl out! Think of all of the money he could be saving if you didn't have to make TWO of everything!! LOL!

Faith, these are just too cute. I can't believe you actually hand sewed that strip. You are so inventive can't believe all the ideas you come up with, do you dream them up when you are sleeping or just always thinking? ha. Great job, I love the jars. Would you come and decorate mine?????
