My card was inspired by the patterns of the Freshcut fabrics by Heather Bailey. I modified the Lap Quilt Pattern for my card. I cut four 2" squares of cardstock for my base. Then I cut strips of daisy d's DPs in 3/4", 1/2", 1/3" and 1/4" widths and adhered them at an angle on each square. When they were all attached, I trimmed around the edges of my cardstock square.
I arranged the quilt squares to match up the width of paper strips and attached them to my "quilt edging".
I adhered my dew drops with Ranger matte accents. I was impatient for them to dry, so I tried using my heat gun ... and discovered that a heat gun melts dew drops ... so I was able to use my finger and press them flatter for a little different effect.
