Here is my card for today's Try a New Technique - to use mixed patterns and figures of DP on a card.
I used the front and back of the SEI Winnies Walls DP - one side is flowered and the other side is dotted.
I used another cute new stamp I just got from Stamps by Judith - the big chicken comforting the little chicken (I think they are chickens!?!) The spots are also a stamp from Judith.
I cut out one of the flowers from the DP and put it on the sentiment to tie it all together.
The top of the flower and the two panels are up on dimensionals.
As you can see - I need a lot more practice on trying to blend my colors - I think I should stick with just coloring solid for now!!

It's adorable. I almost bought this stamp when I was out shopping last Saturday. It was the only one on the shelf and I kept picking it up and thinking how I might design something with it. I didn't end up getting it, but after seeing your card I wish I had. You did a nice job coloring the cute little buggers in!

I liked everything about this card, the dp, the design, and the cute chicken stamp that I couldn't find on Judith's website (no search).Nevertheless, too adorable.
