The one thing I asked my mother for was her button box. Last night my youngest daughter was here and I showed her the hanky BD card I made for her sister. I told her to pick out a hanky and I would make her one. She wanted buttons on hers and picked out several and laid them on my desk when she left. Today when I saw the challenge was circles, I decided to use some of the buttons and make her a vintage button card. She likes bright colors so that is what I used for my scallops.

Great button card Bev! boy - you're really making some nice memory cards here - it's so nice to use these passed down things rather than just having them stored away! very nice!

When I read your explanation, I had to chuckle. I have my grandmother's button box! You did a nice job with the lack of round stamps, using the vintage buttons to create a very pretty card.

What a wonderful gift for your daughter...I have a box of button that once belonged to my grandmother and can't get myself to use them, but love your idea...thanks for sharing your story and card!
