Well......this one evolved around a leftover similar to my first one. During the holidays I had used my Cricut to create some poinsettias for holiday gift cards. This one has been 'hanging around' my worktable since then. When I saw the sketch for this week, I thought about all my border stamp sets from long ago that sit around gathering dust and remembered this set I just had to have off Ebay years ago....I don't know the name of the set......I think I have only used it once......worked on removing the dust, and created the horizontal piece with it......I like the effect......used these Figgy Pudding leftover papers from Christmas and there was the card.......BUT then I did something I wish I hadn't....I added some faux stitching.....and am not sure I like that part.......am going to think about that and maybe replace that panel with a CLEAN one with no stitiching.............sometimes one should just STOP and leave well enough alone.....but, hey....that is all a part of the creative process, right?????
Forgive my amateur photographic skills. Gotta work on that skill.....the flash takes some of the warmth and richness away from the colors.
Roxie...thanks for another wonderful sketch. Sketches are my fav challenge......and am finally taking advantage of all you wonderful bloggers who host sketch challenges.......thanks....
Thanks for looking.

WOW! That poinsettia is absolutely STUNNING, Jo, and I love the lace border. I also like the pine bough and cones behind the poinsettia. Gorgeous, rich card! (I'm right next to ya in the gallery, too! Woot!)
