I have been wanting to make one of these stars ever since I first saw them in the gallery a few months ago - I had the large tag punch but had to get the smaller one - so I got that - then I needed to find the time to try it out!
Today's challenge gave me that opportunity!
I changed the colors, the DP and sentiment but used her layout.
I used a gray mulberry with white, red and black threads in it for the inside of my star and real red for the outlines.
I wanted to try a little something different and although this is a rather dark star - I like how it looks on the SU Charbon DP.
I punched a circle out of the DP for the center than layered a small red circle and a vanilla star.

really beautiful Julia! Love your star's colors and dp, so pretty! We just made one of these stars today in stamp club, but I ran out of time and didn't try it. I must do it now, yours is so inspiring! I love the sentiment with this too, just perfect!
