I didn't get around to CC141 when it was posted, so I thought I'd combine it with today's sketch challenge. I just bought this stamp from, of all places, a needlework website and I thought she'd fit with the Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink color combo.
I had to do the main image twice; usually I like to color with an Aquapainter and ink pad lids, but the color bled all over when I tried that. So I dug out my blender pens (I *really* had to hunt for them...) to do Tink's dress and shoes. Then I wanted a really soft blue for her wings and the pompoms on her shoes, so I used chalk. The rest of it is colored with markers.
I've decided I love the look of stamping something on colored cardstock with the same color ink, and again with Whisper White. I did it with snowflakes a couple weeks ago and I'm just as tickled with it on the flowers here I suppose I could have done some kind of accessory in the upper left of the main image panel, but I figured since Tink was on Shimmery White paper she was adorned enough. Why clutter it up? Plus flat cards mail easier, hehe.

Adorable card - great coloring and I agree it looks great uncluttered.

Love how bright and sparkly Tink is....great job! I know it has been a few years since you posted this....but, would you by chance remember where you bought this stamp?
