This card only has two layers of cardstock; each color is attached as a strip.
Measurements: image panel – 2 3/8”, red – 1/8”, yellow – ¾”, black – 1/16”
IÂ’m still having fun with my newest Cornish Heritage Farms/CHF images but I pulled out some old ones for this card and they all happen to be CHF too but hey, they fit the landscape!
The background landscape was achieved with alcohol inks, my tools for this painting are a 1” block of wood and round dauber/dowel; each one has sticky Velcro stuck to it and ordinary craft felt. Now who says you need expensive tools!
The sun I done with the round tool and the other colors are added by only putting a strip of ink across the edge of the felt. Daub it on across the panel and add more if needed.
Next the images are stamped on. I use a stamp positioner for placement. I used partial images for the palm trees, tall weeds in front of them and the small center grass.
Tracing wheel for sewing was used for piercing. My second row on the bottom doesnÂ’t show that well in the photo but its there; I guess I should press harder.
