I love to use acetate, so Monday's technique challenge was perfect for me. Easy to make...not so easy to photograph. LOL! (The line you see towards the bottom of my card has nothing to do with the acetate. I photographed my card with two sheets of white paper, so it's the edge of the paper you see.)
I stamped the swirl from Doodle This with StazOn directly on the acetate, let it dry and then added the pretty red Twinkle Stickers by A Muse.
Next, I punched out a 1 1/4" square on Whisper White cs and then rubbed on the Live Love Laugh sentiment by BasicGrey. The next layer is Real Red punched with the 1 3/8" square punch. Those two layers are adhered to the front of the acetate. The next layers are Basic Black and Real Red. Those two layers are glued to the inside top panel of the card. The Whisper White layer is glued to the inside back panel, and the final Basic Black layer is glued to the outside back of the card. (Clear as mud??) Obviously the goal here is to hide all of your adhesives, which I accomplished!
I finished up my card with this awesome red with black polka dots ribbon by May Arts and a little Congrats tag from Making Memories.
So, what you do think? TFL - Regina
