I've loved these trees in Trees Three since they first came out. So sad they are retired.
Recipe: I masked the Snow with a torn Post it note on Whisper White Cardstock. Brayered River Rock and a little bit of Basic Gray for the winter sky. Sponge a little bit of Basic Gray at horizon line. Removed post it note mask.
Stamped Trees, sentiment and cardinal in Black. Colored cardinal with prismacolor pencil.
Stamped snow with white ink. Added a few flakes with a White Gel pen.
Smudged SU Gray Pastel at base of trees, under cardinal and sentiment for shadow effect.

This card just drew me in...and, after reading your description, I went back up to see who the artist was....should have known it was your work! Just beautiful, as usual.

Your talent and creative style are such a gift; simply elegant and innovative and yet you are the creative mind that comes up with them. Thanks for sharing your recipes so we less creative but with some casing ability can have a shot at something beautiful. I have already posted 1 attempt and am off to your gallery to try another one of your lovely designs for my grandson's birthday card.
