Created for my pastor's son's new baby girl they named Faith.
It originally started as a challenge card, but I was so late getting it finished that I forget which one now!! We had to cut out a window on our card I think... anyway, I stamped the baby image on the bottom left of my wc paper and left room for the duckie pins, which I stamped next using the ... omygosh, brain freeze!! what is the name of that tech. whereby you stamp one image, then another on a scrap sheet, cut the scrap one out, lay it overtop the good one, and stamp another beside the first one?? Yeah, well anyway, that's what I did for the pins cuz the stamp is just a single pin.
Then I drew the squiggles as a frame, then cut out the odd shaped window around all the images and the squiggles using small scissors.
The piece underneath was watercolored, then when it was dry I stamped Splish Splash in pink randomly. I used foam tape or pop dots or whatever you want to call it to create depth.
Congratulations was hand written. Someone gave me the baby carriage embellie a loooong time ago... now I don't remember who.. but thanks! (oh that is so lame). I DO know who to thank for the ribbon, DEB!!! a.k.a. 88 keys!! Love YOU!!! (check out HER gallery for some original eye candy!)
All images except congratulations are High Hopes Stamps.
I used a combination of watercolors and Prismacolor pencils and Gamsol to color on watercolor paper.
Anyway, there's the tale of this card, and if you can follow it you're doing better than me!!!
TFL!
