I made this for today's color challenge using some new sets that just came! This is for our Middle Son who is starting 6th grade soon. He struggles in school, so this is a card encouraging him to get good grades. I only used Sarah Sand cardstock and stamped with the sanded background first. Then, I embossed the images with clear ep and brayered with Blue Bayou ink. The sentiment strip was brayered with choc. chip ink. The star (from all about occasions) was stamped with versamark and then the horseshoe/star stamp from Bronc Buster in Choc. Chip. I colored the star using a metallic pencil and embossed the star again. The card is 4 1/4" square and opens at the folded tab on the right. Thanks for looking!

Wonderful card! Love all the techniques you used and the great fold! My daughter that plays the piano so beautifully and has a heart of pure gold struggles a lot with academics. I love this card of encouragement that you made for your son. Maybe I will do something similar for Kasey. TFS!
