I tried many things for ribbon storage and found the gutter works best for me. I also tried many ways to store paper and found that vertical holders lined on shelves in my metal cupboard works for easy viewing and access. I find I love company and hence making the workspace for two (other side of the room has space for two more). I and a girlfriend formed a monthly cardmakers group that shares ideas. We each bring one or two ideas with the supplies for everyone in the group to make the idea. We take turns teaching our card(s). We laugh, eat a sack lunch, make cards for 4 hours, and go home with a stack of neat cards. I can't seem to get enough crafting, so often have friends over to enjoy my room too! Thanks for letting me share!

I LOVE this gutter idea, but just had to share mine as a Don't GO THERE!!!! I have a rack with 3 dowels, each time I need to pull out ribbon to see if it works with my project other ribbons come unraveled or I have to take 8 rolls of ribbon off the dowel to get to the one I want. It is the Granddaddy of bad choices for me. SOO I am goint to have my husband put a back on this rack and I will use it to hang my stampin up punches. THEN I am going out and buy some gutter. LOL!!!
