several people had a hand in this one as their cards inspired me to try what I saw in my head...lol
Kittie's card with her cute scene (the queen of scene!)
Michelle's card with her lovely heat embossing (check out her other ones too!)
Faith's card with her cute layered bird (you know she's awesome!)
I stamped the bird 3x and colored with prismacolor pencils and baby oil to blend (just like gamsol), then cut out the body and used CE to adhere it and give dimension, then cut out just the wing and did the same. the beak and eye were colored with marvy embossing markers and clear ep. sponged ink around edges
stamped the flowers in certainly celery and always artichoke (elongated the stems on the Queen Anne's Lace with a marker), then took marvy embossing markers and dotted the golden rod and QAL and clear ep.
lastly I sponged celery at the bottom and bliss blue at the top
slit punch for corners, bird panel is popped up
hard to get the effect from the pic, but IRL... I love it!!!!
tfl;-)

You work is absolutely beautiful. Your coloring exquiste. How does this baby oil technique work? I am very interested because it is a lot safer in my house than "mineral spirits". I have a todller who is into everything.
