The image is colored with Watercolor Wonder Crayons. I stamped the image 3 times. Then I cut the body out and popped it up with dimensionals. Next I cut out the wing of the last bird and popped it up with dimensionals.
The edges of the designer paper is sponged with color, as are the edges of the scallops.
I did this twill treatment for a stamp camp, last July. Then, I noticed someone here do the same about 5 weeks ago! (Great minds!)
This is my anniversary card for my husband. We'll be celebrating while on vacation!

Just beautiful! Love the coloring of the bird and your choice of designer papers--perfect fit. Nice interpretation of the sketch, and I do love the twill treatment!
