This is my card for today's sketch challenge. Thanks Roxie! This is my story:
1. Kinda early for this fall looking card but that is what's cool about stamping...you can go any direction you want. I was headed for the pumpkin patch this fine, hot summer day!
2. I accidently discovered a new technique while making this card. You've heard of second generation stamping? I discovered second generation piercing! Not sure that's a good thing. Today it was a bummer. I was piercing my scalloped circle on my little mat pack mat not realizing it was sitting on top of my background piece. My piercing tool was going all the way through and pretty much trashed it. Do you think it could have been in a spot that wouldn't show? Of course not!! I had to re-do it!
3. Just my luck...I discover a new technique and it's one that people definately hope they never experience!

Hey, I've used that technique before too. I even had the same disaterous results. You should take a poll....;) WOWSA!!!!!! This card is STUNNING!!!! The bg, the brads, the angled ribbon, and the COLORING, are all outstanding. You do fall well in the summer!!!

This is so cool how you highlighted an image out of a background...I just love it, and the colors are very cool and colorful...a nice break from this sizzling summer!
