My friend contracted these cards. It's her son's last year or little league, and has played with 3 other teammates since t-ball. She wanted something to share with the other 3 moms, since they have shared the same years of their lives together, hence the inside sentiment 'We Had A Ball'. My desire was to incorporate all the elements of sport.
The base is white stock with hand drawn red stitching around edges - the ball. The insert is kraft brown laced with rawhide thru eyelets - the glove. The infield is a 2.5 inch circle with edges cut in, is kraft w/ smudged edges, ticket cornered green square[1-3/8in] w/ smudged, kraft circle[1/2in] smudged for mound. The bases are white square brads. Base lines and batter box is white gel pen. The baseball off to the side is a big brad.
I also used the stitching look on the envelope [seen under the card] to continue the ball look.
thanks so much for looking,
Valerie

Wow what a perfect card! I am blown away buy all the elements that are used. Outstanding! I'm saving this to my favorites, just so I can stare in awe at it onced in awhile.
Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
