This anniversary card was made for friends of ours from our church who are celebrating their 50th this week. I used white cardstock for the base and layered that with patterned paper from Provocraft. On top of that I added a strip of gold paper, also from provo Craft. I stamped the image from Carte Postale on vellum with Versamark and embossed it with detail gold powder. I layered the embossed image on a rectangle of gold, then white and secured all four corners with gold brads. As a final touch, the 50 was cut from Olivia alpha with the Cuttlebug. I stamped a verse from Elegant Inspirations on the inside and embossed it with gold detail powder.

OMG absolutely gorgeous!!!!!!! I definitely learned a lesson in subtlety from your beautiful card, as I'm sure I would have tried layering the vellum on top of white and it would have looked awful. You must be tired of people telling you how beautiful this card is, and how thoughtful and creative you are, but I just had to add my two cents!
