Card for the May 07 Virtual Stamp Night Challenge to make a flower without using a flower stamp. I used the Lovely as a Tree set with the single larger tree. I inked the tree leaves but not the trunk with Rose Red ink. I'm so glad I did this challenge I would have never thought to use this as a flower. I kind of messed up the leaves but I love the way the card turned out!
I am thrilled that this card made The Bouquet for the VSN. But I was not completely happy with it. I loved the way the flowers turned out but the rest of the card I wish I had more time to make it better. So I redid this card after the challenge to see if I could improve it. I like it much better this way: MAY07VSNN Redo after Stamp Night by flwrldy3 at Splitcoaststampers

OMG! I never would have thought that was a tree!!! I thought they were hydrangea stamps when I saw the thumbnail. And what a lovely job you did drawing the stems and leaves. GORGEOUS GORGEOUS!!! And I forgot to mention....INGENIUS!!!

Beautiful, elegant ~ and I'm envious of your drawing skills with the stems and leaves... I'm going to try this... I just have to find a stamp for the drawing part first!
Thank you for this fabulous way of using such a favorite stamp of everyones!

Awesome card!
