I could not resist making this card! It is for LSN (Linda)
Linda posted a thread looking for a specific birdie stamp. I was trying to help her find it and made a comment about Rocky...her really big black male cat and how important it might be to him that she get that stamp. Little did I know she had just had an episode with Rocky. Here is her description of what happened:
****This was occuring around 8:30 PM. Rocky is not allowed out after dark (as he is a black cat) so I was getting panicky as he wasn't coming.
I went out in the front yard and there he was, pouncing on this poor bird. He'd pounce, walk a way a few feet, hunker down and run and pounce again. There I was standing over the darn pigeon, trying to protect it and keep Rocky from pouncing all the while trying to catch the darn cat. He was covered from head to toe in feathers.****
Like I said, I could not resist. Linda...hope you don't mind me sharing your funny story!
BTW - A special thank you once again to Stamp Owl for sending me these cat images......and don't worry Frances, it was a pigeon, not an owl...
PS: The bird survived..

Lordy, I wish my mind worked like yours----too friggin' CUTE! I love the cards you are making with this cat image!!! I've often accused you of having every supply under the sun, but I would've never guessed that you have a stash of feathers, too. Oh, I know what. You musta punctured your feather pillows to get these. I know you; you'll go to any length to get what you need to make a card! You're outta control!

OMG this is the cutest card. That is so funny looking at the eyes of that cat behind all those feathers. I always love the way you personalize every card.

Oh my, what a story can be told with a card. This is just too cute for words. The feathers are the icing on the cake, er....cat!
I loved the story of Rocky's adventure with the pigeon. I love all little creatures, and have had to rescue a few from my hunters. They can't help it. It is just their nature.
For a non-cat owner, you are developing remarkable insight into the feline mind! We'll convert you yet.
