I had come up with this card (at least I think I've never seen it before) and wanted to show it to somebody talking about magnetic bookmarks over in the General Stamping Forum.
How To:
This is your standard 4.25" x 5.5" card.
Use your word window punch to make a slot in the first layer of your card. Be sure not to glue down where your bookmark slide in and out.
Make the bookmark twice as tall as what you want to show on the card front. Fold it in half. Adhere self-adhesive magnet strips to both inside bottoms of the bookmark.
Slide the back of the bookmark into the word window slot (behind the top card layer). Close the bookmark. The magnets hold the bookmark in place on the card until you want to take it off.
Stamps: Sassy Stems, Take Three
Paper: Sahara Sand, Basic Black, Orchid Opulence, Garden Green, Cool Caribbean, Naturals White, Making Memories
Ink: same as above
Accessories: ticket corner punch, word window punch, water color brush, brads, grosgrain ribbons, paper piercing tool and template, magnets
