I love the purse for today's IC! I immediately thought of using shelf liner paper to achieve the crocheted part of the purse. It took me a LONG time to make this card as I kept playing with the layout. Once I finally decided how I wanted that, it still took me a long time to put it all together. I used two layers of the Cuttlebug flower die cuts and used the small circle punch for the white flower center and adhered white microbeads to that. I sponged the round tab punch piece in True Thyme and the flower stems were stamped in True Thyme with the stamp from Petal Pushers and cut out. I used mostly liquid glue and sticky strip to adhere everything. The 'friend' sentiment is from the Just Delightful Simply Scrappin packet. TFL!

OMG! How creative to use shelf liner! It is absolutely incredible as a background. Looks so much like straw, wicker or basketweave..It is awesome. I love the way you used the thingy behind the hardware as a little added extra touch and the cuttled bugged flowers are to die for. Whew, got a little excited here!
