This is for IC70-inspiration piece is a very expensive purse. I went with my cuttlebug embossing folders and die cuts to create a little case of the purse. My friend, Bonnie gave me a SU purse filled with chocolate as a gift when I went to her house to do a workshop. She had run it through her CB and made it look like alligator. I got my idea from her. I used gold embossing on the buckle and then got the bright idea (not) to use my Krylon Gold Leaf pen and got a little carried away. It looks like blobs on the scan but in real life it really looks pretty and ritzy. It is the closest I will ever come to a *designer purse*...although my husband bought me a gorgeous Brighton laptop shoulder bag ......gulp... $$$... for me to carry stuff back and forth from work. That was a far cry less than that $2900 for our inspiration piece. Whew!!! If I had that kind of money it would be spent on STAMPS!!! That purse cost more than the eleven foot wall of maple cabinets hung in my stamping room. By the way....I saw blush blossom when I looked at the purse and thyme. I really don't like thyme very well but thought I would use it and see how it turned out.

KITTIE, GREAT JOB IT REALLY LOOKS LIKE A PURSE! I AGREE I'D RATHER SPEND THE MONEY ON STAMPS. MY SISTER-IN-LAW AND I HAD THE SAME CONVERSATION OVER SPRING BREAK, SHE OWNS MANY DESIGNER PURSES. I SAID TO HER I'D RATHER SPEND THE MONEY ON SOMETHING I LOVE TO DO AND CAN SHARE WITH OTHERS.

Just gorgeous! Great idea to use the Cuttlebug for the texture. I don't know what I'm going to do yet (or if I'm going to do this challenge) but I may just have to *steal* that idea from you! Great card! :O)
