For today's color challenge; rusty marigolds. Really Rust, Marigold Morning and Brocade Blue.
I have been in a watercoloring mood lately and I must say that this set is a favorite of mine for watercoloring. The main image is stamped on watercolor paper with black stazon and watercolored with various reinkers and an aqua painter, then layered on real rust and marigold morning card stock. The Brocade Blue card base is stamped with the Linen background stamp and brocade blue ink then wheeled (also in brocade blue ink) with the Leaves Awash wheel. The marigold morning strip is stamped with the Weathered background and really rust ink, stamped off once. The scalloped edges are made using the slit punch.

Just beautiful - I love using the punch for the scalloped edge - very effective - Thanks for the inspiration!
